Tongabezi Lodge , the first river side lodge on the Zambian side of the Victorian Falls, was established in 1990. Privately owned and run, with the emphasis on exclusivity and romance, your stay will be enhanced by the warmth and hospitality of the Tongabezi staff. This is seriously romantic!

Choose from a wealth activities or simply relax by the pool and watch the Zambezi flow past. Visit the falls, on foot, by canoe, by helicopter or even horse back, there is so much to see and do at this magical spot.

Rooms
Accommodation is in cottages and houses at the main lodge or for real exclusivity stay on Sindabezi Island Camp, in the middle of the Zambezi River. All rooms have their own valet to take care of your every need. The River cottages are located right on the banks of the Zambezi with stunning views from the private deck. Houses are slightly larger and feature a massive king size bed with fireplace and a sunken open air bath where you can unwind to the serenades of an African evening.

Sindabezi Island accommodates a maximum of 8 guests but can be booked on an exclusive basis for 4 people subject to a minimum of 2 nights stay.

Dining
Truly romantic, dine on your deck by the river of join the other guests for pre-dinner drinks and the meal on the main patio. Of if you want to push the boat out (!) try the 'Sampan Dinner', the ultimate in romantic gestures. You and your partner will dine on a platform out in the middle of the river. Each course will be rowed out to you! All meals, and drinks (except premium wines & liquers) are included.

Choose to take breakfast by your room or in bed! Lunch is a buffet on the patio or have your lunch as a picnic as you explore the falls.
