Les Cascades de Bantry Bay is an elegant lodge perched on the hillside below Lion's Head in one of the most exclusive bays on the Atlantic Seaboard. Bantry Bay and neighbouring Clifton are both completely sheltered from the often-merciless south easterly winds. Built on several levels with steps down to the pool areas and lounges, this is not a hotel for those that can't manage steps. The views are spectacular though, well worth the hard work!

Accommodation
The lodge provides a tranquil, luxurious haven offering ten luxurious rooms. In the main lodge there are six luxurious and very spacious en suite rooms, which have private balconies with comfortable sun beds and cozy sitting corners. There are four more rooms in a separate villa set to equally high standards, however, the décor reflects a more contemporary style.

Two pools, the largest being 60 square meters surrounded by superb sun decks with sweeping sea views are the perfect spot for watching the sun set into the Atlantic. Romantic Indonesian style Balé, all designed for maximum comfort and intimacy. The plentiful use of dark stained wood, Indian slate terraces and the black lined pools set the tone and ambience.

Dining
Els is a fantastic chef and is in charge of all the meals at Les Cascades. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before a day exploring Cape Town with dinner presented in the very intimate and stylish à la Carte restaurant at the Villa.
