The Resort is situated 3 hours from Johannesburg in the malaria-free Waterberg Region of the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The Legend Golf and Safari Resort consists of an exceptional golf course set within the 22,000ha private Entabeni safari conservancy. Over shadowed by the dramatic Hangklip Mountain, the scenery is breath taking.

Guests staying at the Golf Resort can use the golf and sports facilities there, or can opt to go on game drives into the neighbouring Entabeni Safari Conservancy. It is also easy to combine a few nights at the Golf Resort with a stay at one of the 5 Lodges located on the conservancy.

The golf resort is separate from the main game reserve where Big 5 animals roam free, but the resort has a large resident population of plains animals, such as antelope which frequent the golf course and the bushveld surrounding the accommodation.

The Resort includes an 18 Hole championship golf course, a 10 hole par 3 'Tribute' course, a golf academy, a driving range, recreational facilities, a wellness centre, a "Field of Legends" sports complex as well as a multi-functional conference centre. The resort is perhaps best known for the extreme 19th hole. Reached by helicopter, golfers have a chance to hit the African shaped green located 430 meters below. A hole in one on this par 3, will win you $1million!

The championship course has been designed by 18 PGA Tour professionals, each contributing one hole design. Players such as Sergio Garcia, Bernhard Langer and Colin Montgomerie have all been involved, using years of experience on the tour to test your golfing skills.

The complex houses a variety of restaurants and bars, from coffee shops to the elegant Golf Terrace Lounge which runs the full length of the Clubhouse. The current clubhouse is a fixed, but temporary structure until the main Clubhouse building is finished. Breakfast, lunch and Bar meals and drinks are served here and there are full showering, toilet and changing facilities.

Accommodation is in 5* lodge rooms located in small blocks of 4, around the estate. The rooms are large and spacious with a modern African feel. The rooms have a small lounge area and a private patio. The rooms have satellite tv and direct dial telephones. The large modern bathrooms have a huge bath and a separate shower, that any aching golfer will enjoy. The accommodation is quite spaced out around the reserve, so complimentary transfers are provided to anyone without their own car, to the restaurants and the golf clubhouse.
