Approximately 1 hour from Kruger National Park, White River Country Club meanders gently through a valley. The course was designed by Gary Player 25 years ago as a 9-hole course and later revamped to an exciting 18-hole layout. The course is magnificent, having been landscaped around the White River. The 18th hole, for instance, has you teeing off from an elevated position in front of houses. The dogleg left on this low-stroke hole demands a good tee shot, which allows you to play up to the green.
The course follows the natural undulations of the landscape and regularly crosses the White River that provides a constant challenge, either alongside fairways and fronting some of the greens.
