13 Nights & 5 rounds of Golf

Day 1
Depart London Heathrow on your overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2
Arrive early morning at Johannesburg where you will be met by our representative and assisted with your transfer to the domestic flights terminal and your onward flight to Phalaborwa, (approximately 50 min flight).

On arrival in Phalaborwa, you will be met and transferred the short distance to the Hotel. Check into the  Hans Merensky Country Club & Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure by the pool, using the practice facilities or sipping sundowners and enjoying the scenery. Overnight at Hans Merensky on a Bed & Breakfast Basis.

Day 3
An early morning game drive into the Kruger National Park with breakfast. Return in time for lunch and an afternoon round of golf at the Hans Merensky course. Don't be surprised to find yourself sharing the fairway with all manner of antelope, zebra and other game. But do take care around the water hazards where hippos and crocs reside! Overnight at Hans Merensky on a Bed & Breakfast Basis.

Day 4
Breakfast and a chance to improve on yesterday's score with another morning round at Hans Merensky. Check out after your round, and then depart by private road transfer to the Thornybush Private Game Reserve.

This Private Reserve is made up of 14,000 hectares of bushveld, bordering the Kruger National Park and is home to Africa's Big 5.

On arrival at your lodge, settle into your accommodation before the evening game drive. Overnight at the Thornybush Reserve on a full board basis with two open vehicle game drives each day.

Day 5
Breakfast followed by a morning game drive at Thornybush and a chance to relax by the pool or a walking safari before lunch and then the evening game drive. Dinner is served on your return, under the stars in the Boma, on the deck, or maybe even out in the bush! Overnight at the Thornybush Reserve on a full board basis with two open vehicle game drives each day.

Day 6
An early game drive and breakfast before you depart by private transfer from the Thornybush Reserve to the town of White River. Your trip will include the 'Panorama Tour', which takes you along the Blyde River Canyon.

Check in to Oliver's Lodge, conveniently situated close to the White River Golf Club. Renowned for it?s superb food and hospitality, Oliver's is perfect for golfers exploring the local courses.

Overnight at Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge in a standard room on a Bed & Breakfast Basis.

Day 7
Breakfast and then you will be transferred to/from the nearby White River Golf Club for your round. Originally a 9 hole course, it has been extended to 18 under the watchful eye of Gary Player. The rest of the day to relax by the pool or at leisure.

Overnight at Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge in a standard room on a Bed & Breakfast Basis

Day 8
Breakfast, before the short drive to Nelspruit Golf Club, a delightful course landscaped with indigenous trees and teeming with bird life.

After your round you will be transferred to Tinga Private Game Lodge, a private concession inside the Kruger National Park. The area is reserved for Tinga guests only, but the Lodge has access and driving rights to the entire National Park as well.

Check in to your luxurious 5 star accommodation, before you depart on your evening game drive, followed by dinner in the Boma or on the deck. Overnight at Tinga Private Game Lodge on full board basis with 2 game drives each day.


Day 9
Breakfast followed by a day of game viewing and relaxation. Your day will comprise of an early morning game drive before returning for breakfast. You then have the chance to do a game walk or just relax by the pool. Lunch is usually a buffet meal and then you have time to relax before the evening game drive. On your return enjoy drinks in the bar before dinner is served. Overnight at Tinga Private Game Lodge on full board basis with 2 game drives each day.

Day 10
Full day at Tinga with 2 open vehicle game drives.

An option to play 9 holes at the Skukuza Golf Club - the only golf course actually inside the Kruger National Park. (At extra cost of green fees.) Beware on the 9th, clearing the water hazard, 'Lake Panic' is made that bit more exciting by the hippos that inhabit it!

Return in time for the evening game drive.
Overnight at Tinga private game lodge on a Full Board Basis and two open vehicle game drives each day.

Day 11
Breakfast and a morning game drive before your private road transfer from Tinga to Malelane Sun Hotel. The hotel overlooks the majestic Crocodile River which is the border of the Kruger National Park. Afternoon at leisure to relax by the pool and enjoy the hotel's facilities. Day 12
Breakfast followed by a round of golf at Leopard Creek Golf Club with return transfers. This exclusive course has been created as a private club, with no expense spared.

Designed by Gary Player with input later from none other than Jack Nicklaus, the course is African bush golf at its very best. Bordering the Kruger National Park near Malelane, the immaculate fairways meander through indigenous bushveld while the many water features on the course are home to crocodiles and numerous bird species. Several other species of game have been introduced onto the estate, including giraffe and various buck. But it is the animal after which the estate is named that takes pride of place and, although sightings are extremely rare, bronze statues of this stately predator are to be found at each tee.

The course has a number of very special holes, but the par-five 13th must rank as the feature hole. Measuring 520m, it has a green constructed on tons of steel and concrete that overlooks the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park beyond. The par-three 16th can be a monster with its extensive carry over water - certainly not for the faint hearted.

Day 13
A leisurely breakfast before your private transfer to Nelspruit, for your flight to Johannesburg and the onward overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 14
Arrive back early morning at London Heathrow
