Itinerary:
Arrive early morning at Johannesburg airport where you will be met and assisted with your transfer to the charter flight terminal, where you will catch your flight to Madikwe.The short 45 minute flight arrives at the Madikwe Game Reserve airstrip from where you will be driven to your safari lodge, Mateya, where you will spend the next 4 nights.

Located in the eastern side of the game reserve, this beautiful game lodge boasts a level of service and hospitality that we believe is unrivalled anywhere in the country. The suites are sumptuous with double showers, marble bathrooms and huge private decks, each with a plunge pool looking out across the bushveld.  The cuisine is amazing with freshly baked pastries, breads and full english breakfasts on offer, delightful buffet lunches and 5 course dinners in case you are still hungry!  

Game viewing in the reserve is every bit as good as the Kruger and if you’re really lucky you may catch a glimpse of one of the wild dog packs that live in the reserve - a rare treat.

Each day consists of 2 game viewing drives, early morning and late afternoon.  The rest of the day you can relax by your private pool or go on a guided game walk with one of the rangers. The Lodge has a library with a TV, a small gym and spa and offers treatments such as facials and massages.

From Madikwe you will be collected by car and transferred to Sun City about 2 hours drive away. Your accommodation is in the 5 star Palace of the Lost City, where you will spend the next 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

Sun City is famous for its sporting facilities, such as the golf courses, watersports lake, and swimming pools, but even non-sporty types will find plenty to amuse them. The complex has casinos, restaurants, a cinema and nightly floor-show - Las Vegas style!

On Day 9 you will be transferred by road back to Johannesburg where you will catch the midday flight down to Cape Town. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in The Table Bay Hotel.  You will be staying the next 5 nights here in a sea facing room on bed and breakfast basis.

The Table Bay Hotel is a great place for topping up your tan by the pool and is just a short walk to the V & A Waterfront, one of the main areas for nightlife with plenty of restaurants.

On your final day you will check out from the hotel, but they will make a courtesy room available to you if you want to freshen up before you leave. Your driver will collect you in the afternoon and take you to Cape Town Airport where you will catch the evening, overnight flight back to London Heathrow.
