You can be assured that all the accommodation in Botswana is of the very highest calibre, whether it is a tented camp or a lodge, you can expect the best standards of comfort, service and cuisine. The Lodges are generally small, and intimate, set in their own secluded region - no madding crowds here, unless you count the animals! All accommodation has electricity, running water and en suite facilities, and a pool to dip in between your game drives. Generally the camps are built on platforms with raised wooden walkways linking rooms to the main guest areas. There are beautifully appointed lounges and viewing decks built over the waterways and plains, so you don’t have to move a muscle as the animals come to you.
Included in your stay will be all meals and drinks* and your game viewing activities, which take place twice a day either by boat (in the Okavango Delta) or Landrover, depending on where you are, and the state of the Delta flooding at that time.
Children: Most Lodges operate a policy of only allowing children over 12. In some cases, they will make exceptions if you book the whole camp. Chobe Chilwero, which is not situated in a National Park itself, will allow children on any age, but they will not be allowed on game drives.
Except premium wines, liquers & champagnes. Also Chobe Chilwero does not include drinks in its tariff.
