Tamarina Golf and Spa Boutique Hotel

Located on the sheltered west coast of Mauritius, not far from the village of Tamarin and only a short drive to Flic en Flac sits Tamarina Golf and Spa Boutique Hotel. This friendly, relaxed 4* hotel stands between the turquoise waters of Tamarin bay and the mighty Rempart Mountain. Accommodation is simple but excellent value and less busy than the bigger multi-hotel resorts found elsewhere on the island.

Rooms at Tamarina
The 50 deluxe rooms are spacious and modern, with all the amenities that you would expect from a 4* hotel, including Air Conditioning, Satellite TV, DVD player, mini bar, direct dial phone, electornic safe and wifi. All of the rooms have a private balcony and are sea facing.

Dining
Guests staying on an All Inclusive basis have access to three restaurants and bars. The main restaurant, ‘’La Madrague’’, can either be buffet or A la Carte.  ‘’La Plage’’ is the hotel’s beach restaurant and bar, which is ideal for outdoor dining on warm evenings.  At the Tamarina Golf Clubhouse there is a further restaurant,  ‘’Le Dix-Neuf’’ which serves an informal menu such as burgers, steaks and sandwiches. Located at the highest point of the golf course, there are magnificent views from Le Dix-Neuf verandah.

Activities
There are two swimming pools, a spa, complimentary daily rounds on the 18 hole golf course, a surf school, tennis courts, pétanque courts and bicycle hire. For anyone interested to take up golf there is an academy which offers a weekly complimentary clinic where guests can try out some balls.

Guests also get preferential rates to the nearby Casela World of Adventures leisure and theme park. Within the park’s zoo, you will discover a huge aviary with birds from the four corners of the earth; a safari zone home to African animals including lions, zebras, hippos and giraffes; and, at the heart of the park, a farm with goats, sheep, ducks… But Casela is also a fun park that offers a zip line, canyoning, segway, quad and buggy rides and a 4D cinema. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the park twice a day.
